A fantastic book; One Day by David Nicholls

One day is the story of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew, who met for the first time for a one night stand on the graduation night the 15th July 1988. The book checks in with Em and Dex every year for the next 20 years on the anniversary of that initial contact date.


It took me two months to finish this book as I've been reading it on and off together with other books. When finishing it yesterday evening I realised it's one of the best books I've ever read. It is a book about growing up, about dreams, wins and disappointments; about how we change and how we stay the same; and most of all about love. Thanks to this book I will start believing in destiny, that things happens for a reason and what is supposed to happen will also come true. 


I recommend it for everyone to read, it is so sweet, funny, sad and interesting.

Next week in London I gonna buy David Nicholls other two books, can't wait to read them!

Postcard killers - Liza Marklund and James Patterson

Yesterday I finsihed reading the book "Postcard killers", a book written by two great autors; The Swedish Liza Marklund and the American James Patterson. It is a fast-paced crime fiction novel with smart twists and turns. It is not only a great novel it also cointained lots of interesting facts... For example I learned that the castle in Stockholm is one of the world's biggest castle still in use; that Stockholm is built on 14 islands and that the caracter in the scream movies is taken from the famous Norvegian art Skriiet (the sceam) by Edvard Munch.

I really liked the book and would absolutely recommend it for everyone!

Skam - Karin Alvtegen

Karin Alvtegen's fourth book Skam (=Shame) is a thrilling and shocking depiction of the human fear, very strict religious childhood, forbidden sexuality and the biggest shame of them all: never have been felt loved by anyone.

It took me some time to finish this book... in the beginning I didn't really fancy going on but something made me continue and in the end I really liked it. It is quite sad and depressing but also very interesting.
